Catherine Baek Dambrosia
FOUNDER
Catherine has spent 25 years in the beauty industry, heading up Global Education for prestigious cosmetic companies in the makeup, skincare, nail care, and wellness spaces. She has also worked as a professional makeup artist for television, photo shoots, and fashion shows. It has been her passion to continually communicate, educate, and share ideas about clean beauty products and services that make people feel good from the inside out. BE ROSY is the culmination of Catherine’s experience and passion.
In 2019, Catherine left the corporate beauty world to open her own clean beauty space in Pacific Palisades, CA. BE ROSY focuses on providing natural ingredients and sustainable practices during nail care, makeup and brow services. Her goal is to inform and provide clients of making cleaner and sustainable choices in their daily lives.
At BE ROSY, the evolution continues, from wellness to sustainability. As Catherine learns about additional modalities, such as crystal healing, they make their way onto the menu of services. Additionally, BE ROSY is continually looking for ways to lessen its environmental impact, eliminating many commonly used plastics in the salon, to introducing sustainable and refillable body products as well as home cleaning products. It’s important to leave our planet a little cleaner for our future generations to come.
Catherine lives in LA with her husband, Michael Dambrosia (a photographer) and have two boys.
